Okay so think about it in this way, like a study abroad or internship. When you apply you have to be taking at least one class (that’s where the college part comes from) so even if you’re a senior and will graduate the semester before you do the program you’ll still have been taking a class when you apply and it still counts. And yes you move to Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California depending on where you apply, for a semester and then you move back unless you extend your program and stay longer.

The way my college did it for me was I was a freshman when I applied to do the Fall Program for my first semester of sophomore year and I went in to my adviser and told them I got accepted to do the program so what did I have to do so that I would still be a student at ASU but be living in florida doing the program and he sent me to the internship advisers and they had me sign up for an internship class on blackboard so that I would still be technically taking a class but I would be in florida as the “class” and I had to write 10 emails over the coarse of the semester that I sent to my internship adviser and at the end of my program write a paper about my experience and send it to them and that’s what I had to do to get credit. But that is just the way my college did it, you’d have to ask your adviser because I know different colleges do it differently. You also have the option to take classes at disney while working there but that’s up to you.

As for being a character, you can apply to work in Entertainment but you’d have to attend an audition for it and I attended an audition in San Fransisco and another one in Orlando but they’ll tell you where auditions are taking place and you sign up to go to one. If you don’t want to work in Entertainment there are other options you can apply for like Attractions, Merchandise, Food Service, Custodial and etc etc etc it all gives you those options when you go through the application process.
